Okay, call me basic, it doesn’t even bother me, but fall is hands down my most favourite season. Between getting cozy on the couch, fall baking, and all the cute outfits, I am obsessed with everything fall has to offer. Here are some of my favourite products:
A staple in my closet this fall is ALL of the Aerie sweaters! I can’t get enough of the oversized, cozy and completely practical sweaters this brand has to offer. They also come in the most beautiful colours and are some of the softest sweaters I own. Check their website often for deals and coupon codes as they happen frequently. As a rule of thumb, I never purchase anything from this store unless it’s on sale.
If you don’t know already, I don’t drink coffee so my preferred hot drink is tea. With cold and flu season upon us, I always have these two brands of tea in my cupboard. Cold 911 from David’s Tea and Tetley Boost (Peach) can both be purchased at Zehrs. Any time I feel a slight cold coming on, I reach for Cold 911 and Boost (Peach) is my absolute favourite tea to cozy up with.
Three – Pumpkin Spice Latte Candle
Nook and Burrow on Etsy have a ton of amazing candles. My fall favourite is called pumpkin spice latte, and it is a hug in a mug. It is scented with pumpkin spice, nutmeg, vanilla bean and a dusting of cinnamon sugar. This candle creates the perfect fall ambiance and smell throughout your home.
Four – Wide Brim Hats
My new favourite accessory is wide brim hats and I think this trend will carry on from summer to fall. They are so much fun to style and add a certain mood to your outfit. I buy mine from Gruv in Stratford, ON, but there are so many options for wide brim hats. Here are some of my favourites: Gap & Ten Tree
Five – Backpack Bags
When I transition my wardrobe to fall, I love to bring out my backpack bags. It’s like back to school, but for adults! There are so many cute styles and colours but I often go for tan or light brown. I am loving this one from Spring! I find their bags typically last me for a few seasons but for the cheaper price, it is worth it.
With drier skin in our future, I like to use a heavy moisturizing cream before bed in the fall. This vegan, buttery, collagen sleeping cream delivers essential nutrients and nurtures the skin for a dewy, cushioned glow by morning. It is a must have for your nighttime skin routine.
Seven – Tall Boots
Probably one of the harder transitions for me is from flip flop to boots, but it makes it easier when they are this cute. I am 5’9’ so I prefer to wear shoes with no heal or a small one so these are the perfect boot for me. I love styling these with a cute dress and cardigan or dressing up jeans and a plaid shirt.
Eight – Indigo Throws and Pillows
Is there anything better than snuggling up on the couch with a cozy throw and pillow? I can’t think of anything I would rather do this fall. Indigo, as per usual, has some incredible blankets and pillows that you can add to your collection. My favourite are all of the fall colours that these throws come in and of course there are pillows to match!
Nine – Pinterest
I spend so much time on Pinterest, but even more time in the fall. Browsing all of the fall baking recipes, home décor inspo, and outfit ideas are one of my favourite things to do. Just simply searching fall on Pinterest can put me in a good mood. Follow me on Pinterest to see some of my favourite things!
Ten – Sherpa Everything
I am currently obsessed with Sherpa but I am very picky with how it looks! I recently bought the vest in the image above from Marshall’s (therefore unable to link) but I also found this amazing sweater from VICI! You can definitely count on me wearing these all fall and winter long.
That’s it for my top ten fall must haves! Stay tuned to my social accounts for some of my favourite fall recipes, decor ideas and outfits! Comment your favourite item or something that is on your top ten list.
